Triax is an ultra-extended, semi-mono typeface inspired by early 2000s design, from Oakley X-Metal glasses and vintage Nike watches to the retro-apocalyptic technology of Ghost in the Shell and Akira. Built on a 5 × 10 grid, its modular system replaces circular forms with different shapes and finishes, generating an expandable family of styles. Narrower alternatives for selected glyphs were also developed to improve practical use.
